Tanera Mòr is the largest and only inhabited of the Summer Isles, lying just off the coast of Coigach. There are no roads, cars or shops; just fresh air, space and freedom to spend time at a peaceful pace.
The Schoolhouse is situated on high ground with stunning views across the North West Highlands, and a bird’s eye view of the bay. The house has a spacious, comfortable rooms and a wood-burning stove and Rayburn for extra cosiness. A cosy cabin behind the house provides comfortable additional sleeping space.
Sailing lessons are available in our RYA-recognised sailing school, and we run full-board residential courses in sea kayaking, art, writing, book making and willow weaving. Our shore-side cafe sells delicious Fairtrade and organic produce, and the Summer Isles Post Office sells our own special stamps.
